Cristina has recently returned from
where she worked for a dive shop
during the off-season and received her Assistant Instructors certification. Sardinia, Italy

Cristina received a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship and was employed for five years as a Business Counselor in
After deciding to give her ‘normal’ life a bit of a shakeup, Cristina decided in 2015 to take a sabbatical from her job and pack her bags for
Her goal was to travel across the continent, learn Spanish and discover a new culture and land. In the end, she did much more!
After arriving in
, the cold Patagonian winter
encouraged her to seek the sun in northern Argentina South America.
She headed to
, where she decided to work on her
bucket list and give scuba diving a try. Ecuador
Turns out, it was love at first dive and Cristina was hooked.
She continued her travels to
and began working on her Divemaster
course and completing the exams. Nicaragua
Once certified, she began her job as a divemaster in
as well as back in Corn Island, Nicaragua . Ecuador
In 2017, Cristina decided to drop her anchor in Roatan and join Zeppelin as a divemaster for the season.
Cristina’s passion and excitement for diving cannot be contained – every dive she leads,
she has a gift for seeking out the big, the small the rare and the most extraordinary underwater critters.
Her gifted eye always finds some amazing underwater surprises for our guests to marvel at.
Cristina has also been nicknamed the ‘Warrior Princess’ for her efforts in combating Roatan’s lionfish
– an invasive species that is detrimental to our reef system.
She enrolled in the
lionfish hunting course and now
dives with her very own Hawaiian sling, doing her part to reduce the lionfish

Always on the lookout for an exciting new challenge, Cristina’s new developing passion is underwater photography.
One day last season, we tossed her our camera and asked her to snap a few pictures of our guests and her natural talent emerged.
She is now enjoying taking live videos and stunning photos of our daily dives.
Back on the boat, Cristina shares her impressive fish and coral knowledge with guests and
in the evenings we all come together after dinner to “ooh & ah” about that day’s photo shoot and live video on the big screen.
